The annual Metalcasting Congress, also known as CastExpo, is the most important foundry trade show in North America. Organized by the American Foundry Society, (AFS), the 2024 event takes place at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the dates are April 23rd through 25th.

The CastExpo show and associated conference are intended for design engineers, sourcing professionals, and others with an interest in casting. It’s the place to meet with casting experts, take classes, attend panel discussions, and learn about advances and trends in the foundry industry.

An education program highlight is a presentation by Mark White of Impro Aerotek. Mark has over 30 years of foundry industry experience and is highly regarded for his technical expertise. He regularly shares his foundry experience and technical insights with the casting industry worldwide. At CastExpo he will be speaking on “Surface Finish – Requirements and Inspection”.
